EchoLedger displays only publicly visible Instagram usernames that have followed the account. Each entry may include optional classification badges (OG, SPC, KF) which denote follower categories.
We do not collect, store, or display any private Instagram data—no passwords, email addresses, direct messages, analytics, or any other personal information beyond the username.
EchoLedger is built with privacy in mind. We explicitly do not use:
The ledger is read‑only and static; there is no backend database or user tracking.
Usernames are displayed solely for transparency and community acknowledgment. The ledger is a public archive meant to celebrate early and special followers—not a commercial product.
No data is monetized, resold, or used for targeted advertising. The project exists as an open‑source record.
Any user can request removal from the ledger at any time, for any reason. Requests are processed manually and respectfully.
We may ask for optional verification (such as a screenshot) to confirm identity, but justification is never required. Our policy is respect‑first.
Use the Removal Request page to submit a request.
When a removal request is approved, the username is permanently removed from the public display. Screenshots submitted for verification are used only for that purpose and are not stored long‑term.
The ledger reflects the current state of followers; removed entries disappear from the public view and are not archived elsewhere.
This policy may evolve as the project grows. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a clear update date.
We commit to maintaining the same privacy‑first, transparent approach regardless of updates.
